Panelists
Dr Antonia Shand is head of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Royal Hospital for Women (RHW), Randwick, NSW and research fellow at The University of Sydney. She runs a multidisciplinary high risk antenatal clinic and has expertise and interest in medical complications in pregnancy, infections in pregnancy, prenatal diagnosis and perinatal loss.

Pam Rogers is a parent educator, CMV advocate and parent with lived experience of congenital CMV

Hannah Croker is a midwife and parent with lived experience of congenital CMV. She is dedicated to preventing CMV infection in pregnancy following her own family’s experience.

Adj A/Prof Hayley Smithers-Sheedy is a Principal Research Fellow Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Institute, The University of Sydney. She has expertise in cerebral palsy epidemiology, congenital infections and neurodevelopmental disability.

Katherine Swinburn is a Research Officer and Governance Manager at Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Institute, The University of Sydney. She is passionate about consumer involvement in research and co-manages CP Quest. Kath’s research is focused on congenital CMV as a potentially preventable cause of cerebral palsy.
