Rachelle Chee
Rachelle Chee is a registered midwife who completed her studies at the University of Wollongong in 2010. She has extensive experience in clinical midwifery practice, particularly in caseload midwifery and intrapartum care. Rachelle is currently an associate lecturer in CQUniversity’s Bachelor of Midwifery (Graduate Entry) course, and practises clinically in southeast Queensland. For her PhD, Rachelle is exploring the impacts of social media influencers on women during the childbearing continuum, supervised by Associate Professors Tanya Capper and Olav Muurlink.

Tanya Capper
Associate Professor Tanya Capper is an academic and midwife with over 26 years of international clinical midwifery experience. Tanya commenced her midwifery career in London, UK and has held a range of positions including several clinical leadership roles within tertiary maternity services, a freestanding birth centre, and was the 'Named Midwife' for a caseload of HIV-positive women. Tanya migrated permanently to Australia in 2006 and has worked in academia since 2015. Tanya is currently an Associate Professor of Midwifery at Australian Catholic University, based in Brisbane.
