Monica Vitale (RN, BN, GradCertNur(CritCare), MN(NP) ) is a Nurse Practitioner and Lead Nurse Educator for the Clinical Education Unit at True Relationships and Reproductive Health, Queensland. Monica’s goal is to raise the profile of sexual and reproductive health by supporting clinicians on the ground. She aims to further debunk myths that prevent the inclusion of sexual and reproductive health in daily healthcare. Monica has recently developed the Antenatal Sexual health Kit (ASK) ; a course that is focused on equipping antenatal clinicians with practical skills to improve sexual health during pregnancy. She is excited to be talking to midwives today who are keen to learn more to improve mother and baby healthcare.
