The Many Faces of Birth Trauma
_
Presented by Amy Dawes from Australasian Birth Trauma Association

The aim of this presentation is to facilitate a greater understanding of the key contributors to birth-related trauma and encourage ways in which we can improve outcomes for families by starting conversations.
Amy will be talking about her own experience of birth-related trauma and sharing the findings from the support that the ABTA has offered for the last 3 years, including information from the birth preparation survey that we ran during last year's Birth Trauma Awareness Week.
This year's theme for Birth Trauma Awareness Week 2020 is 'Journeys', again starting the conversation so women and their families know they do not have to walk the path to recovery alone.
