About the course
The Professional Peer Review course has been designed as an introduction for midwives to the Peer Review Process and its role within the healthcare sector. By completing the course you will learn about the purpose of peer review and the benefit that it provides to various stakeholders, as well as the process and roles involved in typical Peer Review. You will also learn about key skills that a Peer Reviewer will be able to draw on during the Peer Review process.
Completing this course will provide you with a solid foundation and understanding of the Peer Review process and is designed to increase your general knowledge and awareness, especially if you are considering becoming a Peer Reviewer.
This course is a pre-requisite for people wishing to become a reviewer for the Australian College of Midwives' Midwifery Practice Review program or assessor for the Baby Friendly Health Initiative program.
Course Access: All users are provided with 12 months access from the date of their enrolment.
CPD Hours: This course has been recognised by the ACM for 5 CPD hours, which is equivalent to the average time taken to complete the course by users during the testing period.
