About the Role

The Division of Women's and Children's Services, Logan Hospital provides evidenced based midwifery, obstetric care, paediatric and neonatal care to women and their families, recognising individual needs and a woman centred philosophy of care which promotes and enables choice. This is achieved in the context of an integrated multidisciplinary maternity team.

The role provides the coordination of and is accountable for service delivery, human and material management, expertise in the health care team, communication and highly developed data analysis and fiscal management to deliver safe, quality, effective and efficient healthcare provision.

The position also shapes corporate and clinical governance in partnership with the local executive teams and is co-chair of the Women's Health Service with equal accountabilities for service delivery and outcomes with the Medical Director Obstetrics and Gynaecology Logan and Beaudesert Health Service.
