From the QLD Branch
Welcome to our Queensland Branch page. We represent all midwives working across our vast and beautiful state – from the coast to the outback, from the Qld/NSW border to the Torres Strait. Your branch represents you, Midwives working in all areas, across a variety of settings and models of care.
Midwifery organisations such as the Australian College of midwives, must continue to thrive and have a strong voice in the maternity system in Australia, increasing the visibility of our profession. We encourage every Midwife to work together to inspire and support each other and be an active member of the College in your community. The health landscape is changing, now is the perfect time to come together as midwives.

Interesting and fun events to be involved in are planned in Queensland over the year and can be found here when registration opens.
The Queensland committee aims to increase collaboration and facilitate a safe, supportive, inspiring network of midwives. We have a fresh, engaged committee. The committee has a broad range of skills and backgrounds, who are looking forward to representing our members in ALL things Midwifery, in Queensland.

Attend our meetings
When?
Monthly – Usually the second Monday of each month. An email is sent to all QLD ACM members with our upcoming meeting dates.
Where?
Meetings are normally via Zoom. Please email us if you'd like to attend so we can provide you more information.
