CCLHD Maternity Services incorporates birthing services at Gosford Hospital, a Level 5 facility and at Wyong Hospital a Level 2 facility, providing care to approximately 3000 women and their babies per year. Our focus for maternity care is to ensure that it is collaborative, where the woman and her family remain at the centre of the care experience and are actively involved in all decisions about their pregnancy, their birth and after their baby is born. In line with the evidence, the Maternity Service has a number of models of midwifery care that offer women continuity of care including home birth.

We're seeking a dynamic individual to step into the role of Midwife Manager within our Women, Children, and Families Directorate. This pivotal position offers the opportunity to shape the future of midwifery and nursing services while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

As the Midwife Manager - Maternity Services, you'll be at the forefront of contemporary midwifery ensuring safe, high-quality care for our patients. Your responsibilities include overseeing the provision of midwifery and nursing services, managing clinical issues, and driving service improvement initiatives. With a focus on patient outcomes and collaboration, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the healthcare experience within our Directorate.


About You

You are Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency as a Registered Midwife.
You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in health management or working towards attainment or significant management experience in a senior management role.
You have demonstrated experience in the effective and efficient management of midwifery services within a risk management framework.
You hold a current Australian Drivers Licence and have the ability to travel across sites within the District
