The successful applicant will assist in leading and growing our Home Visiting Midwife service.
The Home Visiting Midwives provide a wide range of postnatal midwifery services within the community to support families within the LMH catchment - North and North-eastern suburbs of Adelaide.
These postnatal services include:
• Routine postnatal care of mothers and babies within the first week of life.
• LSCS management and wound care
• Breastfeeding / Formula feeding support
• Neonatal weight management
• Routine screening of mothers and babies
• Home Phototherapy and ongoing jaundice management
• Community engagement for vulnerable families.
