Aviary Ward at Monash Children’s Hospital is a 24 bed unit specialising in Neurology, Adolescent and Rehabilitation patients. We are a relatively new addition to the Monash Children’s Hospital and have a vibrant and motivated nursing team working with us to provide outstanding Family Centre Care.

A Day in the Life:

Working across numerous specialties means no two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to work across acute and sub-acute areas of nursing, allowing you to continue to develop your clinical skills. You will there to witness the magic moments with your patients, whether it be seeing them sit or walk again, develop a healthier relationship with food or just smile when things become that little bit easier for them.

What You Bring:

While previous Paediatrics experience is highly regarded, if you have nursing experience and a true desire to specialise in Paediatrics, we encourage you to apply! Support for growth and development will be provided every step of the way.
