Dr Laura Biggs
Dr Laura Biggs is a midwife and Research Fellow in the Intergenerational Health group and Stronger Futures Centre of Research Excellence, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. Her program of work focuses on the use of innovative qualitative research designs to generate deeper understandings of complex social and health phenomena, including mental health and suicide prevention, intergenerational trauma, and domestic, family, and sexual violence. Laura is passionate about working in partnership with communities and health and social care professionals to build culturally safe and trauma informed approaches to maternity care.

Pre-Conference Dinner

Venue Information
The event is taking place in Riverbank Rooms 2 & 3 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Located in the main building on the lower ground floor, facing the Riverbank Promendade. Please see venue map below.

Car Parking is available nearby at the at Riverbank Car Park and North Terrace Car Park. Early Bird Parking at $18 per day is available for entry between 5:30am-9:30am and exit between 2:30pm-6:30pm. Further information and maps available here.

We understand that circumstances can change, however ACM has contractual commitments with venues for in person events and as such requires adequate written notice for any cancellations. From 1 January 2024, the following will apply to requests for cancellations/refunds:
