You will assist with the provision of professional high-quality nursing and midwifery care within the Maternity/Paediatric Unit at Mount Gambier & Districts Health Service, caring for women and babies from 34 weeks gestation, prenatal and postnatal care and paediatric patients. Assessing individual patient needs, you will plan, implement or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options. You will also provide health education, counselling and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups. Consolidating your knowledge and skills, you will develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the Maternity/Paediatric Unit.

Positions available:

· Ongoing full-time (part time hours to be considered)

· Temporary part time 60 hours per fortnight, up to 23 August 2024

· Temporary part time 53 hours per fortnight, up to 2 May 2025
